Ingredients

3 to 4 lb. beef roast (tough cut is fine)
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. red cayenne pepper
3 c. water
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
French bread
Preparation
-
Roast beef until rare.
Cut into slices or chunks.
Add rest of ingredients and simmer all day.
Serve on sliced French bread.
