Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 can sliced pineapple, drained (reserve syrup)
cherries
1 pkg. yellow cake mix, mixed according to pkg. directions
Preparation

In pot, cook pineapple syrup, sugar and butter until sugar is dissolved.
Pour syrup in 11 x 13-inch pan.
Arrange pineapple slices with cherries in center.
Pour cake mixture over syrup and pineapple slices.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool 15 minutes, then turn onto platter.
