Pumpkin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. applesauce
    1 c. water
    2 c. pumpkin
    1 c. nuts (if desired)
    3 1/3 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. cloves
    4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat eggs well, gradually add sugar.
    Add applesauce.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture, beating until smooth.
    Add water, pumpkin and nuts.
    Bake in 2 greased or sprayed pans at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
    Can be frozen.
