Liver Nips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef liver
    1 lb. stew beef
    1 cup plain flour
    1 cup self-rising flour
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 tbsp. basil
    1/8 tsp. salt
    water
Preparation
    Boil liver, stew meat in enough water to cover well until tender.
    Remove liver to medium bow, mash with a fork.
    Add flour. onion, salt, and basil, mix well with enough cold water to make a soft dough.
    Drop by tsp. into pot of boiling broth with stew beef.
    Cook uncovered on medium heat about 20 minutes.
    Serve hot.
