Minute-Boil Fudge Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 oz. chocolate, finely cut
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    7 Tbsp. milk
    2 Tbsp. Crisco
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place chocolate, sugar, milk, Crisco, butter, corn syrup and salt in saucepan. Bring slowly to a full boil, stirring constantly, and boil briskly for 1 minute. Cool to lukewarm. Add vanilla. Beat until thick enough to spread.
    If it gets too thick, add some cream or soften over hot water. Makes enough for 2 (8-inch) layers.
