Cinnamon Stars - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 egg whites
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 3/4 c. confectioners sugar
1 lb. almonds, finely ground
confectioners sugar

Preparation

Mix egg whites, cinnamon and sugar until well blended.
Set aside 1/4 cup for frosting.
Add finely ground almonds.
Roll out mixture on sugar-flour dusted board to 1/8-inch thick.
Cut with star cutter, frost with egg mixture stiffened with additional confectioners sugar.
Decorate with sprinkles.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
