Apple Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh sausage
    4 to 6 apples, pared, cored and sliced
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    dash of nutmeg
    wine or sherry
Preparation
    Brown sausage and slice into bite-size pieces.
    Add sausage to apple slices and mix.
    Mix brown sugar and spices with enough liquid to make saucy.
    Put into a baking dish in a circle around desired filling and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour until apples are done.
