Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening (I use Crisco)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
pinch of salt
1 tsp. soda
4 or 5 mashed ripe bananas
Preparation

Mix sugar, shortening, vanilla and eggs.
Add bananas.
Sift together all dry ingredients and alternate with buttermilk into banana mixture.
Add nuts.
Pour into greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until done.
