Pineapple Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

6 medium sweet potatoes, cooked and peeled
1 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 (8 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a casserole dish.
Cut potatoes into thirds lengthwise and place in dish.
Combine sugars and cornstarch; stir in lemon juice, butter and pineapple.
Bring mixture to a boil and cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Then pour over sweet potatoes.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated.
