Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

4 c. bread crumbs
2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 shakes of salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins
Preparation

Place bread crumbs in large bowl.
In medium saucepan, scald milk and butter.
Mix sugar, eggs, salt and cinnamon together. Add mixture to scalded milk and butter.
Mix slightly, then add to bread crumbs and mix.
Add raisins and mix.
Pour into greased bread pan.
Place bread pan inside a 13 x 9 x 2-inch cake pan that has about 1-inch of water in it.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes (until knife comes out clean).
