Elaine'S Old Fashion Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. butter
5 c. sugar
12 small eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
12 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. milk

Preparation

In a super large mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar and eggs. Alternate adding milk and dry ingredients until all are added. Mix with hands until batter does not stick to your hands (more flour may be added until desired consistency is achieved).
Roll into 1/2-inch sheet and cut cookies.
Place onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 until browning on bottom.
Makes about 8 dozen cookies.
