Irish Soda Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 tsp. caraway seed
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    melted butter or margarine
Preparation
    In a large bowl, stir together flour, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
    Stir in raisins and caraway seed. Add buttermilk; stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
    Turn batter into a greased 8 x 1 1/2-inch round baking pan.
    With floured fingers, pat dough evenly into pan and brush top with a little melted butter or margarine.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Cool bread before removing from pan.
    Makes 1 loaf.
    Serve warm or cold with butter and jam.
