Upside-Down Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Pour into 9 x 9-inch greased pan.
    To top, add 2 cups canned fruit (peaches are very good); add 2 cups fruit juice with 1/2 cup sugar added.
    When done, fruit will be on bottom, batter on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
