Molasses Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. light molasses
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 qt. popped corn
Preparation

Combine molasses, corn syrup & vinegar in sauce pan.
Cook stirring occasionally to 240 degrees.
Then continue cooking, stirring constantly to 270 degrees.
When done, add butter and stir only enough to mix.
Sprinkle the salt over the corn in a large bowl.
Then slowly pour the syrup over it, mixing well. Quickly shape into balls using as little pressure as possible.
