English Muffins In A Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
2 pkg. active dry yeast
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2 c. milk (whole or skim)
1/2 c. water
corn meal
Preparation

Combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and baking soda. Heat milk and water to 120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0.
Add to dry mixture.
Beat well.
Stir in additional flour to make stiff batter.
Spoon into 2 loaf pans (8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inches).
(Pans are greased and sprinkled with corn meal.)
Sprinkle tops with corn meal.
Cover and let rise 45 minutes to 1 hour in warm place.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Immediately remove from pans and cool.
