Sausage And Potatoes Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh sausage
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. green pepper
    1 Tbsp. chopped pimento
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 c. thinly sliced potatoes
Preparation
    Make patties out of sausage; cook and drain and break into small pieces.
    Combine soup, milk, onion, green pepper, pimento, salt and pepper; blend well.
    Place half potatoes in a greased (2-quart) casserole.
    Add half the sausage.
    Cover with half the soup mixture.
    Repeat layers.
    Dot with butter.
    Cover and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 1/4 hours.
    Remove cover; sprinkle with cheese and bake, uncovered, another 15 minutes or more or until potatoes are tender.
    Serves 6.
