Chess Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine, melted
1 egg
1 box butter cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. soft cream cheese
3 eggs
1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine margarine, 1 egg and cake mix. Mix thoroughly and press into a 9 x 13-inch pan; set aside.
