Apple Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. solid shortening
    3/4 c. milk
    12 medium apples, peeled and sliced
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    4 Tbsp. oleo
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Add shortening and mix well.
    Add milk and mix.
    Divide dough in half and roll out to fit a 9 x 13-inch or an 11 x 15-inch pan.
    Place dough in bottom and fill with apple slices.
    Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.
    Roll other half and cover top of apples.
    Make slits with knife.
