Country 10 Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dried mixed beans
    1 qt. water
    1 lb. ham, diced
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained)
    1 (10 oz.) can Ro-Tel tomatoes, chopped (undrained)
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Mix beans and water; add next 4 ingredients.
    Cover and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until beans are tender.
    Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Serve with corn bread.
