Hungarian Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cans cherry pie filling
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients; cut in margarine as for pie crust.
Add beaten eggs and vanilla.
Mix well and press into bottom and sides of 11 x 17-inch pan.
Spread fruit filling on top.
Save enough of dough to make crumb topping.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar while warm.
Good with ice cream.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
