Buttermilk Bacon Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    1/3 c. sliced green onion
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    garlic powder to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Fry bacon; reserve drippings.
    Crumble bacon and set aside. Stir buttermilk and bacon drippings into sour cream; blend well. Add onion, seasonings and bacon.
    Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours to allow flavors to blend.
    Serve over tossed green salad. Makes approximately 2 cups.
