Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped dates
whole graham crackers
Preparation

Mix the first 4 ingredients together; bring to a boil.
Cook until thickens (about 4 minutes).
Remove from heat.
Add the coconut and dates.
Spread whole graham crackers on bottom of large pan.
Pour mixture over crackers; cover completely.
Put whole graham crackers on top.
