Easter Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. white sugar (granulated)
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    3 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil top three ingredients until a drop forms a hard ball when dropped into cold water.
    Beat egg whites (room temperature) until stiff peaks are formed.
    Very slowly add boiled mixture to egg whites, while continuing to beat on medium with electric mixer.
