Hard Candy(Rock) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. flavoring
    food coloring
Preparation
    Combine sugar, corn syrup and water in a saucepan.
    Bring to boil over medium heat until mixture reaches 300\u00b0 on a candy thermometer.
    Remove from heat and add flavoring and a few drops of food coloring.
