Spinach Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 oz. pkg. frozen spinach
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. mayonnaise
    8 oz. pkg. vegetable soup mix
    8 oz. can water chestnuts, chopped
    3 green onions, chopped
Preparation
    Thaw and squeeze spinach until dry.
    Cut up.
    Stir together spinach, sour cream, mayonnaise, soup mix, water chestnuts and onions; blend well.
    Cover and refrigerate two hours.
    Stir before serving.
    NOTE:
    Can be put inside a hollowed out center of pumpernickel bread.
    Cut the inside part that was cut out, into cubes and use with dip.
