Hummus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. canned chickpeas (garbanzo), drained
    3 garlic cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    juice of 2 lemons
    1/4 c. minced parsley
    1/4 c. minced scallions
    black pepper
    dash of cayenne pepper
    pita bread, split and cut in quarters
    a little olive oil
Preparation
    Spread bread with a little olive oil and bake for 10 minutes. Mash the chickpeas into a thick paste in food processor or blender or with a fork.
    Add all the remaining ingredients.
    Chill and season to taste.
    Dip pita bread into the hummus or use it as a dip with cut vegetables.
