Ingredients

1 1/4 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix and bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 9 minutes.
Do not overbake; cookies will be soft.
They puff during baking, then flatten upon cooling.
Makes about 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
