4 c. sifted flour
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter or oleo
1 c. molasses (Grandma's)
1/4 tsp. vinegar
Preparation

Measure flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt and baking soda into sifter.
Sift 3 times into medium bowl.
Cut in butter or oleo until mixture is like coarse cornmeal.
Add molasses and vinegar; stir until blended.
Cover and chill until firm.
Roll out and use favorite cookie cutters.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes in oven at 350\u00b0. If in a hurry, roll into 1-inch balls.
Place on greased cookie sheet and bake.
