Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. molasses
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream together the butter and sugar.
Add egg, flour, salt, baking powder and spices; mix.
Add raisins and nuts.
Mix. Chill in refrigerator.
Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
