Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 oz. red food coloring
1/2 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
4 Tbsp. Nestle Quik
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. cake flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Mix food coloring and Nestle Quik to form paste.
Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add cocoa paste.
Mix flour and salt.
Add buttermilk and flour alternately.
Add vanilla and mix well.
Mix 1 tablespoon vinegar and 1 teaspoon soda and add to cake.
Stir well.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Use 3 round layer cake pans, which have been greased and floured.
Ice cake.
