Watermelon Punch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large watermelon
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 (33.8 oz.) bottled ginger ale, chilled
Preparation

Scoop pulp from melon.
Remove seeds and mash pulp.
Measure 1 gallon of juice and set aside.
Combine sugar and water and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
Add 1 gallon watermelon juice and chill.
Just before serving, add ginger ale, stirring gently.
Yields 5 1/2 quarts.
