Grandmother'S Scotchie Cookie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) butterscotch morsels
    1 1/4 c. (12 oz. jar) peanut butter
    3 c. corn flakes
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream butter.
    Add brown sugar; cream well. Blend flour.
    (Mixture may be crumbly.)
    Press into bottom of ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Combine sugar and corn syrup in medium saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butterscotch morsels and peanut butter.
    Stir until melted.
    Stir in corn flakes.
    Spread over base.
    Cool.
    Cut into bars.
