Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, beaten
    3 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla (if desired)
    4 c. cold biscuits, broken into bite size lumps
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients and fold in the biscuits.
    Let sit in refrigerator or until bread has soaked up the milk-egg mixture. Spoon into a 1 1/2-quart buttered dish and dot with butter.
    Fruit or raisins may be folded into mixture. Bake 25 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Serve hot from oven.
    It's great topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
