Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. shortening
Preparation
    Sift together meal, flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Stir in milk.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add melted shortening. Pour into well-greased baking pan or muffin tins.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 400\u00b0.
