Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg (unbeaten)
    1 to 1 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Put the butter, peanut butter, white and brown sugar and egg in large bowl.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt; stir these dry ingredients into contents of bowl.
    Chill the dough for one hour or more; roll heaping teaspoonfuls between the floured palm of hands to make balls.
    Place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
    Flatten with underside of floured fork, pressing twice to make a crisscross pattern.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
