Sallie M. Russell'S Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    3 egg yolks
    butter (size of walnut)
    1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
    1 lemon rind, grated
Preparation
    Mix
    together
    the
    sugar
    and
    flour,
    then
    add milk. Gradually add
    beaten egg yolks.
    Stir in lemon rind and juice and cook
    over medium heat until thick.
    Take from stove.
    Add butter and
    let
    stand until butter melts.
    Place in baked pie shell. Add meringue and bake in 350\u00b0 oven until brown.
