Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour (all-purpose)
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream
    butter
    and
    sugar.
    Add
    water and vanilla; mix well. Add
    flour\tand
    pecans.
    Chill 3 to 4 hours.
    Shape in fingers or balls.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Cool and roll in confectioners sugar.
