Chess Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 egg
1 stick butter or margarine
8 oz. cream cheese
2 eggs
1 lb. box powdered sugar

Preparation

Mix the first 3 ingredients and pat into a 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan.
Mix the cream cheese, eggs and powdered sugar and spread on top of cake mixture. Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 until set (approximately 15 to 20 minutes).
