Gingerbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. light brown sugar
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/2 c. molasses
    6 c. bread flour
    1 1/2 Tbsp. ginger
    2 1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and molasses.
    Stir dry ingredients and add.
    Chill.
    Roll out not too thin.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until dry, not crisp.
    Makes enough dough to make one small castle or many shaped cookies.
    Frost, if desired.
