Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter or 1/2 oleo and butter
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together; add nuts.
Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs and vanilla.
Mix.
Make into three rolls; wrap in wax paper.
Let stand overnight in the refrigerator.
Cut 1/8-inch thick.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until golden brown, according to thickness.
