Louisiana Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1 stick oleo
    3 Tbsp. Karo syrup
    2/3 c. milk
    1 qt. pecans, broken
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil all ingredients in a medium-sized saucepan to a soft ball stage.
    Take off heat and cool 10 minutes.
    Then beat until thick enough to drop spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
    Store in tightly covered container.
