Angel Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter or shortening
    1 Tbsp. dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. warm water
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
Mix dry ingredients together and cut in shortening or butter until crumbly.
In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add yeast and buttermilk to the dry ingredients and mix lightly but thoroughly.
Cover tightly with plastic; the dough will keep in the refrigerator for a week.
    Punch it down occasionally.
When you are ready to bake, preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Roll out dough on a floured board to about 1/8-inch thickness and cut into 2-inch squares or use a cutter to make rounds.
Brush the top with melted butter if desired.
Bake on ungreased baking sheet for 15 to 17 minutes.
