Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 c. milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 can flaked coconut
1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
Preparation

Mix the sugar, flour and cornstarch.
Stir in milk gradually. Cook over medium heat in double boiler, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and boils.
Boil for 1 minute.
Slowly stir half the mixture into egg yolks.
Then blend into hot mixture in saucepan.
Boil 1 minute more until thickened, stirring constantly.
