Cheese Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (9-inch) baked pie crust
Preparation
    Mix 3/4 cup sugar, flour and salt; add egg yolks alternately with milk.
    Mix well.
    Cook slowly, stirring constantly, until thick.
    Remove from heat.
    Beat in cream cheese, butter and vanilla.
    Pour into pie crust.
    Beat egg whites until stiff; beat in remaining sugar.
    Spread over pie filling.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 until light brown.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
