Sausage Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. breakfast sausage links
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie pastry
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    4 eggs
    1 pt. heavy cream
    1/8 to 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation
    In skillet, brown sausages until done.
    Drain and cut into small pieces.
    Place in the bottom of a pie shell.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    In mixing bowl, beat eggs; add cream and nutmeg.
    Pour over cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes clean.
    Serves 6 to 8.
