Best Ever Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 baked shell
1 1/4 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. water
1/3 c. lemon juice
3 eggs, separated
3 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
2 tsp. vinegar
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch together in top of double boiler.
Add water.
Combine egg yolks with juice and beat well.
Add to the rest of the mix.
Cook until thick over boiling water for 25 minutes.
Add lemon extract and vinegar and stir.
Pour into pan and cool.
Cover with meringue and brown in oven for 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
