Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. White Lily all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0 and lightly grease baking sheets. Combine flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt; set aside.
    Cream sugar, butter or margarine and shortening. Beat in eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy.
    Stir in flour mixture just until blended.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
    Place on baking sheet 2 inches apart.
    Bake 6 to 7 minutes or until set around edges. Cool on wire rack.
    Makes about 6 dozen.
