Easy Beef Stew(Serves 4) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. cubed chuck steak
    1 stalk celery, cut up
    salt and pepper
    1 onion, sliced
    2 sliced carrots
    2 potatoes, cubed
    1/2 to 3/4 c. tomato juice or 1/2 c. tomato and 1/2 c. red wine
Preparation
    Put meat in bottom of casserole. On top, add 1 sliced onion, carrots, celery and potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired. Add tomato juice and wine. Cover and put in 300\u00b0 oven for 2 hours. Correct seasoning. Cook 2 more hours. You may have to add more liquid. Check on it.
