Texas Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 dozen eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 lb. butter
    8 strips bacon, fried and crumbled
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. cooking sherry or water
    2 small cans mushrooms, drained
    1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Beat eggs with milk.
    Melt butter in skillet.
    Scramble eggs. Spread in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Top with bacon, peppers, onions and mushrooms.
    Warm soup with sherry (or water).
    Spread over top. Top with grated cheese.
    Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
