Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco (scant)
    2 c. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 beaten egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Cream together sugars and shortenings.
    Add vanilla, beaten egg and dry ingredients which have been sifted together.
    Fold in chocolate chips.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
